May is the green season in Tanzania, when the plains of many areas are carpeted by wildflowers. This is the most economical season for a Tanzania African safari when it comes to price. Not to worry though, your wildlife sightings are just as good as any other season.
While you may experience rain on your journey, in fifteen years, it has not ever hampered our safaris. Typically, it rains during the night, early mornings and clears up for a beautiful day, sometimes with scattered rain showers.
