Safari Wild Encounters in Kenya and Tanzania November 2019
November 5, 2019 – Featuring the Iconic Giraffe Manor and Sheldrick Wildlife Trust – 14 nights
This African Safari Wild encounter in Kenya offers some of the best wildlife in the country. This trip will visit Amboseli and it’s National Park, which offers great views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Mt. Kilimanjaro is actually in Tanzania but its best views can be seen from Kenya, with it’s snow capped peak, peeking through the clouds. It’s not often that you can see the entire mountain, but the spectacular view will astound you.
Many of you might have seen photos of the giraffe peeking through the windows of the dining room. This location is the site of Giraffe Manor, which is one of the few places that houses Rothschild giraffe. We will visit for one night where you can feed, eat with and have an up close and personal encounter with these majestic animals. On the same trip you will visit David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, where Daphne Sheldrick and her daughter help rescue and care for orphaned elephants that have been found in the wild. It is an amazing place and each of these elephants has its own story. Once you visit, you will be able to write your own story of this fascinating journey.
