Good morning everyone:

You are receiving this email because at some point you expressed an interest in traveling to Africa and doing an African Safari; you have already traveled with me to Africa and were interested in this trip; and/or you have already traveled to other countries and may be interested in a new country or you’ve traveled to Kenya before and want to return. Still others have heard me talk of Africa for years and what a great time I’ve had, or I’ve been relentless in badgering you over the years to travel to Africa with me and maybe, just maybe you will ultimately decide to do just that. :) Whatever category you fall in, I hope you might consider it. This email is specifically for Kenya, not Tanzania, that will surely come.

I’m sure sometimes you must wonder, how does she do so many trips, I’m always getting emails from her about travel here or travel there. Well, TRAVEL is my business and I would be remiss if I didn’t at least keep you up on the trips on the off-chance or the on-chance that you might be interested. You never know!

And Janine since you live in Africa, it’s just a hop, skip, and a jump to get over to Kenya and join us next year, that is if you are not attending a rugby game. Of course I’ll be seeing you THIS November when I come. (For those of you who don’t know what I’m talking about, I met Janine is my South Africa connection, we met in Ireland, she resides in South Africa).

However, it is not my intention of bombarding you every day about some travel special, as I’m sure like me, you receive those Travel Zoo emails, Vacations To Go, Travel On Demand, etc. and probably many others seeking your business, with advertisements of ‘good deals’. (In travel to Africa, you will see incredibly low prices on some trips, don’t be fooled, nothing is ever as it seems, and none of them are private, customized safaris). I certainly don’t want to do that, so I say, if you absolutely have no interest, please excuse the disruption, and feel free to delete this email.

As indicated, this information is specifically for Kenya November 2011 and I am limiting the travel group to only TWELVE travelers. By now you must all know that planning a custom trip to Africa requires almost a year of planning, so I always start early and give everyone a chance to save or request vacation time if that is applicable. A head start is always better for me. I know it’s a long way in advance for some to plan, but for others, it gives them something to look forward to for the next travel year ahead. I do not start the actual detailed work of organizing until I hear back by a date certain (November 1 for this trip, drop dead deadline of December 1, 2010) of how many people are interested, and then, of course, narrowing it down to how many people are ‘really’ interested (translation = deposit). So I will await that.

Please find attached, a .jpg image of the tri-fold brochure which everyone should be able to open, a .doc letter explaining it all which everyone should be able to open, and a .pdf application form which everyone should be able to open. (I say that because most of you know I create everything on a MAC (sometimes with applications no one has) and often forget I have to convert documents for the rest of the pc world to access. So here it all is. If you have any troubles with it, be sure to let me know.

Please be aware, that until confirmed by a booking with a deposit, nothing, including dates and rates are confirmed. Note that the Departure date if you are going to stay two nights in Amsterdam is 18November (not 19Nov as stated), to arrive 19 November, to stay 19-20 November, depart 21 November. Those rates cannot be confirmed until I know who and how many would want to do that. (Please keep in mind the weather during this time of year, could be very undesirable for a two night stay, and necessitate heavier clothing for two days).
